Nobody remembers who first opened the Book of Doom, which is probably for the best. Its pages are packed with suspicious knowledge, terrible instructions and ideas that should never have made it into print. It is happiest when someone ignores the warnings and keeps reading. Close the cover and it sulks. Turn another page and things usually get worse.
